Master Unit is the practical materialisation of Rev. BABA’S great ideology-Atmamokshartham Jagat Hitaya ca (Subjective approach through objective adjustment). It is the implementiation of PROUT to create a conductive socio-economic environment for enabling human beings to attain the higher pursuits of life for which they have come on the earth. It is to translate into action the spirit of “Sarvajana Hitaya Sarvajana Sukhaya” (instead of Bahujana Hitaya Bahujana Sukhaya. i.e. the welfare for all and sundry leaving ‘ none instead of welfare for many not all) and provide each and everybody with the fruit of economic independence, i.e. economic democracy (Decentralised Economy).
- With these ends in view, MU is to be built up as a model of ideal development and growth, thereby to be established finally as a self-sufficient unit (i.e. fully integrated and ecologically balanced socio-economic unit). Serving the surrounding area and pollution. This ideological nucleus (Master Unit) is to act as an inspirational as well as demonstration centre for the local village population fostering

At the first instance, all the requirements (economic, social, cultural, etc.) of the people within the MU project area shall be catered for. Then the same should be done for the people of surrounding villages, then blocks, semi towns, districts and so on.Programme
On the basis of the above- mentioned objectives, the entire programme of MU may be broadly divided into three phases which may further be subdivided into several short term plans. The period of each phase-may vary form six months to one year depending upon the convenience, resource mobilisation and directives of the organizational authorities regarding the specific time frame. The programme includes multifarious terms befitting the all round progress.
